PRAYERS FOR PEACE: Half-Day Mantra & Meditation Virtual Retreat

Saturday, September 20, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

During this online Half-day Mantra & Meditation Retreat, offered by the Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center of Philadelphia in observance of the United Nations’ Global Day of Peace, we will be chanting traditional Buddhist mantras while focusing on awakening peace within ourselves, and within our families, our friends, our neighborhoods, our country, and our world.

Drepung Gomang Monks

Hybrid Event

The Monks of Drepung Gomang are presently on tour in the United States to share the compassion and wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism. The Monks will be coming the Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center, and we will have the opportunity to meditate during their chanting.

Our retreat will include a program of meditation and teachings led by Venerable Losang Samten at the Pendle Hill Quaker Retreat Center in Wallingford, Pa.
